A team of scientists at A-STAR Singapore has pioneered a groundbreaking method for producing “true” liposomes quickly and on a large scale, without the hefty cost.

This advancement has expanded the use of liposomes beyond pharmaceuticals and luxury cosmetics, making state-of-the-art skincare affordable for all.

In 2014, Vesiderm acquired the rights to this technology and began developing their own proprietary Vesiderm liposomes from egg yolk lecithins.

Through extensive research conducted by A-STAR scientists and paediatric dermatologists from KK Hospital, it was found that Vesiderm liposomes, when applied topically, strengthen the skin’s barrier against irritants like psoriasis-triggering IMQ.

This discovery presents a promising solution for combating age-related skin issues and chronic inflammation.

Now, this innovation is available in Vesiderm’s signature product, the Daily Skin Fortifying Body Lotion. With additional products in development, Vesiderm is dedicated to meeting evolving skincare needs and bringing advanced skin health solutions to everyone.
